Quarter Mile Ranch
The best choice for you!
We are a cosy family ranch in the heart of Hungary where you can enjoy the calmness of a typical hungarian village, you can try western riding in our arena, or trail riding in the countryside. After it you can have some yoga lessons or you can relax at the outside pool with a glass of wine. The origin of western style is the hard ranchwork in America where horses have to work in accordance with their riders. They have to listen to the little movements of the body, the legs and the hands whilst riders do their work around the farm. With the same training and basics, our well-trained and calm horses can give you the feeling of freedom and security during the rides. You can ride them in a comfortable western saddle with long reins you can admire the beautiful countryside and sometimes you can have a feeling: these horses can read in our mind. Besides the horses there are dogs and cats on the farm and if you would enjoy your holiday with your little best friend it’s not a problem for us, our dogs and cats are really friendly and well trained too. If you choose to spend your holiday here it’s a great pleasure for us!
Little Hot Cowboy
He is the doyen and the most experienced among our horses. He participated in Western pleasure and trail competitions – easy to ride even for children.
Diego Black Pearls
A sure-footed trail horse, patient with his rider. A very calm temperament. Thanks to his robust physics, he can easily carry bigger riders as well.
She was a cow-horse on a ranch and now she is best in trail riding. She is persistent and disciplined – a reliable fellow on long rides.
The youngest member in our team. Really calm and nothing can make him nervous. Very good partner on the trails.
Sári du Val
A reliable and mindful horse. She has been participating to Western trail and competitions. Despite her relatively small size she is surprisingly indefatigable during long trails.
Alma du Val
Our own breed. She is just being trained – we have great expectations about her.
